"MATILIJA CR. AFTER SUNSET",  is one of my favorite creeks in all of the costal mountains of Southern 

California.  There are 3 main forks; each with a good population of native trout, (Red Band Trout), that

are able to survive the very radical conditions that vary the streams flow and temperature through the years.
