The summer weather in the Alsace Lorraine Valley are quite varied.  Many of the days are very pleasantly warm with cool evenings, however there are a smattering of short heat waves that bring very dramatic thunderstorms that clap loud with short downpours..

These heat waves may last for a few days giving way to cooler days and nights.
