"TOIYABE OBSIDIAN CR. CAMP" - the location is off the road to Obsidian Cr. Camp, and the Little Walker River
road in the Toiyabe National Forest. This is around 16 miles north of Bridgeport, CA. not a lot a people, and great trout fishing.

The cliff that rises above 'Casitas Springs' is a great landmark that has always been very worthy of painting; especially in the late afternoon hours.
