This view in "Santa Paula Canyon" is of a small side canyon that is down the the road from the St. Thomas Aquinas Monastery. Hwy. 150 winds it way from Santa Paula up through Happy Valley into Ojai. Very nice little drive.

The strawberry fields in this painting is located on the south side of Hwy 126 just behind the little citrus town of Fillmore close to the trout fish hatchery. We visit the hatchery every once in a while to throw liver pellets to the trout.

Parker Canyon, is a fairly short hike from the June Lake road that is a must do this summer. I look forward to exploring and fishing Parker Creek and lake. The stream flows along Blood canyon trail into Parker Lake.

Lots of snow in Sierra Nevada Mountains this year making for some wonderful visual moments. The Alabama Hills
run along side the Eastern Sierras directly above Lone Pine in the lower Owens Valley.

This view is from the top of the Sulfur Mt. Rd. at the gate. As you walk past this point the view of Happy Valley and Ojai is no longe visible.
I have two friends that live above this point and have enjoyed this vista for many year.
