The Borrego Desert is by far my favorite California Desert. The plant life is diverse, and with lush beautiful Smoke Trees as well as many other desert plants unique to this desert.

These little paintings are from the Bernina Pass very close to the summit giving a view of the highest peaks in this part of Switzerland, the Bernina Group Mountains, or Alps. This pass is quite well know as a favorite place that has been painting through the years by artists such as Singer Sargent. The road takes you into Italy, and offers fabulous vistas to be sure.
